about Alethe

Alethe is a living body of work devoted to restoring our felt connection with nature, ourselves, and one another.

The name A-lethe derives from the ancient Greek (α-λήθη), meaning the absence of forgetfulness—a remembering of what is already true and alive within us.

At its heart is a simple yet radical intention: to create spaces where people can slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with who they are beneath urgency and fear. From that remembering, choices and relationships begin to align with care and integrity.

Alethe is founded and guided by Daphne, who holds the vision of the work. Alongside her is Eledina, a close collaborator and trained facilitator, with whom the foundational pilgrimages and experiences were shaped and brought into form.

The roots of Alethe are also informed by Zuzanna, Daphne’s astrology mentor, whose insights and transmissions helped give rise to the original questions that led to the pilgrimages and the unfolding of this work.

Across all its expressions — retreats, pilgrimages, mentoring, and gatherings — Alethe is devoted to cultivating deep intimacy: with oneself, with others, and with the wider living world. This intimacy is not an idea, but a lived experience — the binding thread that runs through everything we offer.

Daphne is a facilitator born and raised in Crete. After 22 years studying and working abroad — across electrical engineering, environmental consultancy, and personal and professional coaching — she returned to her birthplace in 2018, following a deep inner call to reconnect with the land and her own living path.

Since 2008, she has designed and delivered personal and professional development programmes internationally. In 2014, after completing a year-long initiatory journey focused on women’s leadership and remembrance, her work began to shift toward supporting individuals to live according to the authority of their own inner guidance rather than inherited conditioning.

Her path has included walking pilgrimages across Crete and participating in ceremonies aimed at awakening the feminine presence of the land and tending to places marked by historical imbalance. Alongside this, she continues to support individuals, couples, and organisations navigating transitions, conflict, crisis, and new beginnings.

Daphne brings clarity, steadiness, and care to potentially complex or vulnerable conversations. At the heart of her work is the simple commitment to help people slow down, listen deeply, and return to themselves.

She also supports facilitators in designing and co-creating bespoke land-based experiences for their groups on Crete.

Eledina is an artist whose life has been shaped by a deep relationship with the sea and the natural world. Raised in a coastal village near Thessaloniki, her early years were marked by a quiet awareness of the sacred woven into everyday life.

Her search for truth led her through spiritual questioning, creative exploration, and an ongoing process of inward discovery. Over time, she came to understand that what we seek externally must first be embodied internally — that there is no separation between the inner and outer worlds.

Creativity became both her language and her path. She studied art, freehand drawing, and fashion design, cultivating a sensitivity to form, colour, and symbolic expression. Her work translates subtle perception into tangible beauty.

Within Alethe, Eledina brings joy, artistic intelligence, and intuitive presence. Her ability to perceive and reflect the subtle dimensions of a person’s journey finds expression most clearly in the Soul Mandalas she creates — visual reflections shaped through attentive listening and deep attunement.
